We work because the works resist. The essential part of our work is initially to do the work of introspection, of purification which will allow this piece to no longer have resistance within us.
Then comes laborious and difficult work. We try to forge an internality that will allow us to withstand the energy of this room. And then one day, without us explaining it, something inside us clicks. It becomes easy. Maybe we finally dare.
This is the start of the second phase. The necessary personal development is behind us, all that remains is the construction work. This harmony here makes me vibrate, this melody is extraordinary, I want to inspire such emotion in this place. In depth, we finalize our so-called interpretation.
For the third stage which is that of the concert. In concert we do what we can, with the means at our disposal. This is a moment of truth. Both highly conditioned by our work upstream, and untouched by it because everything has to be redone at the moment. We launch ourselves into the unknown of a moment shared with the people who make up the public, and through resonance from human to human, we recognize in each other our common suffering, and therefore our fraternity. Thanks to this moment I saw that you had felt this exact emotion that I experienced, I can therefore free myself from it because I am no longer alone.
After the concert, the work is the moment engraved deep in our cells. We must therefore repair our errors and our uncertainties, and somewhere start the work from the beginning, enriched by everything that has been done, to then reach an even higher peak during the next event. Making music is making Sisyphus happy.
